About The NYC Havanese Playgroup

This is a group for Havanese owners in New York City looking for advice, support, and new playmates.

Members of our group should be committed to actively participating and helping to make these events successful. Part of active participation is rsvping 'yes' only if you plan on attending. RSVPing 'yes' and not showing up will result in removal from the group. Please understand that in order to plan events (that is reserve space, attract guest speakers, etc.) we need to have confirmed attendance in advance.

Please note, since a big part of the gatherings is about our dogs having a blast (and not all dogs are comfortable with kids) only children over the age of 12 are invited.

Dog related business owners may inquire about membership in order to let members know about relevant dog products, events and services. However, we reserve the right to limit these memberships. Please contact the group organizer privately to suggest postings of events and services. Please do not post advertisements for dogs for sale.

We plan to be connected with the Animal Haven Shelter & Sanctuary and to have at least some of our meetups include donations to this group.

Members of the media are welcome to join this group in order to be made aware of our events for the purpose of including it in their media outlet(s).
